Spring Handmade Market 2020

Free family friendly day out supporting 80 of the best of the south west’s art and crafts people. Along with lots of lovely stalls you will find demonstrations from leading woodworkers and crafters, also fantastic in store special offers! Come and find us, just off the A303 at Martock.

April 2020 brings the 8th now biannual Handmade Craft Market to Yandles & Son Ltd, situated in the picturesque Somerset Village of Martock, located less than 1 mile from the A303 London to Exeter road, on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels.

Our Handmade Craft Market, initially started in July 2015 offering 30 pitches to makers, artist, wood turners and designers selling all manner of quality handmade goods. The success of the first craft market has led us to expanded to us holding it twice yearly due to so much interest from local crafts people, now offering over 80 outdoor pitches to traders. All selling quality handmade pieces from gift and home ware, clothing, toys, sculptures, stained and fused glass, jewellery and much more. The event is completely free to the public, including free onsite parking and is the perfect family day out for those who love unique and hand crafted items

Stallholder information

Pitches are outside and are just under 3m square and are £20 (10ft x 10ft Gazebos are recommended - limited quantity available to hire at £20). Chair and table hire available at £10. Stall holders will receive, marketing material in the form of posters/postcards/images to share on social media/selling pages. Furthermore, we re-invest all money from booking fees back into advertising the event including sending out 3000+ postcards to our mailing list, advertising in local resources such as local magazines and newspapers. We provide a social media presence in the form of paid adverts alongside our events page.

Please note new application guidelines to allow for fairer allocation of crafts and to encourage a wider variety of handmade items.

We withhold the right to decline applications based on what we perceive as suitable goods, those which are in keeping with our handmade ethos and goods which will not compromise what other stallholders or Yandle & Sons Ltd. sell on site.

Applications will be available to download at the bottom of the page and to be emailed to beth@yandles.co.uk by the deadline along with photo's of work/products and proof of insurance/food hygiene info.

Application deadline for the Spring Market March 15th 2020 at 5pm.

You will be contacted to confirm or decline your application within 2 weeks of the market.
