A crocheted sitting elephant

This small sitting elephant with tusks is crocheted from 100% cotton yarn using a No. 3 crochet hook. The elephant is filled with polyester stuffing.

 

Head

1: 6 dc in a magic ring (6)

2: 2 dc in each crochet stitch (12)

3: * 1 dc, 2 dc in the next crochet stitch* (18)

4: * 2 dc, 2 dc in the next crochet stitch* (24)

5: * 3 dc, 2 dc in the next crochet stitch* (30)

6-10: 1 dc (30)

Fill the head with polyester stuffing

Break the yarn

Body

Fill the body with polyester stuffing

Break the yarn, sew together the small hole and secure the end of

the yarn.

Sew the head onto the body

the legs onto the body.

Break the yarn and sew the tusks onto the head.
