Re-opening

We're delighted to be back open again after the Winter Lockdown and are already welcoming many of you back to the shop. We have a new look to our Art department, some delicious Liberty print Lawn fabrics and plenty of wool in stock ready for your spring projects.
Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9-5pm and Sundays from 9.30-4pm and we are taking both cash and card as payment. Our Cafe is also back open with a Takeaway menu and benches to sit outside and enjoy a drink and a snack after you've finished your shopping.
Don't forget our Home & Gift shop is also open to buy beautiful birthday cards and presents for your family and friends so Welcome Back and enjoy the wonderful shopping experience of Yandles.

New wools and fabrics now Online!

We've been busy sending out lots and lots of your parcels here at Yandles, thank you SO MUCH for continuing to support our independent family business with your orders for wool, fabric, canvases and more. We're doing our very best to secure supplies and although it's a little unpredictable out there righ now, stock is filtering through to us, who knew knitting would be so incredibly popular again?!
This week we expect to have the King Cole Big Value Super Chunky wool in stock again and the website will be updated as soon as we can get to it. In the meantime, take a look at the gorgeous selection of Majestic yarn that we now stock. With all of the impacts of climate change we think it's hugely important to start relying less upon synthetic materials and to give our customers more choices of natural materials for their projects, that's why this year we intend to focus more on natural and sustainable resources for crafting. The Majestic range is a 50% pure wool product with 30% acrylic, giving it all of the inherent benefits of natural wool (warm, water repellent, insulating) along with the practical day to day convenience of machine washing. We are excited to now have Sirdar as a supplier, especially as they are heading a huge campaign for natural wool this Spring with the launch of their new 100% pure wool range. we aim to have this in stock as soon as possible but in the meantime, keep your eyes open for their Country Classic range as we launch it online in the next couple of weeks, the colours are rich and the wool is so incredibly soft that you'll have hard decisions to make about what to make and like the majestic, this yarn is also 50% superwash wool.
What about Fabrics? Well we have a good few now up and running on the website and will be continuing to add more as the Lockdown progresses, giving you the chance to start planning some lighter weight projects in the Spring. Don't forget that we also sell 6oz poly wadding and the glorious needle punched double width cotton wadding from The Warm Company for all your baby and childrens quilts where it is so important to use products that naturally regulate air circulation and temperature, it's not listed online yet but ou can contact us to make a telephone order.
And finally, we have news on canvases. A large order has been placed with our supplier who finally has more stock and we are expecting a delivery any day so keep an eye out fas we update stock on the website but bear with us as we don't run an automated stock control system and like most small indie businesses, everything is done manually.
